Midden-Groningen

Since the end of 2016, Chint Solar / Astronergy has been involved in the development of this solar park on the edge of Hoogezand-Sappemeer. Landscape design with attention to local biodiversity is of paramount importance to the development. The Midden-Groningen sun park is fitted with input from the local population and fits in well with the existing landscape structures in terms of species use and design.

Andijk

Chint Solar/ Astronergy is developing the 11 hectare solar park close by the existing business park Andijk Zuid. We work in close cooperation with the VOF Andijk Zuid. In 2017, the municipality of Medemblik approved the realization of a solar park close by the existing business park Andijk Zuid. Construction took place during the summer of 2018. Official opening on 7th november 2018.

Largest solar park in the Netherlands is now operational

The 103 MWp Midden-Groningen Solar Park at Sappemeer is connected to TenneT’s high voltage grid network and commenced full operations. Chint Solar installed approximately 315.000 solar panels on 117 hectares of land. The solar park will be officially opened with a festive event early next year. The solar park supplies at least 32.000 households with renewable electricity, making it currently the largest solar park in the Netherlands.

Province gives initiators solar field Quadenoord extra homework

he province of Gelderland does not yet intend to grant the permit based on the Nature Conservation Act (Wnb) for the construction of a solarfield at Landgoed Quadenoord. The province wants the initiators to better substantiate two subjects: the nitrogen deposition must be reviewed as a result of the national discussion and the influence on the habitat of the animal species in the area – also outside the intended plan area. The initiators will submit an opinion in which they will discuss these topics.

Solar park Midden-Groningen almost finished

Het Zonnepark Midden-Groningen bij Sappemeer is bijna klaar. Er komen in totaal 316.216 zonnepanelen. In november wordt het zonnepark officieel geopend. Het zonnepark voorziet 32.000 huishoudens van stroom en is daarmee het grootste van Nederland.

Solar parc enables renovation Landgoed Quadenoord

To be able to renovate Landgoed Quadenoord (Renkum) a solar Parc will be installed. For this project Landgoed Quadenoord cooperates with the ValleiEnergie cooperative and with Chint Solar. Chint Solar has a lot of experience and knowledge of developing and building solar parts. Everyone from the environment can participate in this sustainable energy project via the Cooperative Valley Energy. Together with Wageningen University, we are working hard on the biodiversity on the plots. The permit application has been submitted.

Open day Zonnepark Midden-Groningen successful

On Saturday 15 of June the building site of Zonnepark Midden Groningen was open for public. The rainy weather was no reason for the people of Groningen to stay at home. At least 185 interested visitors came to take a look at the largest solar park in the Netherlands under construction.
