Projects in the Netherlands
Chint Solar is working on the development of solar parks throughout the Netherlands. Some examples of recent projects can be found below. Over 15 projects are under development at this moment, with an estimated capacity of more than 300 MWp.
Together with Ankehaar Solar and TPSolar, Chint Solar is working on the planning of the Zuidvelde solar park.
Chint Solar is in ongoing discussion with the municipality of Midden-Groningen about the development of a 30 hectares solar park at Buitenhuizen.
Zonnepark Leek was put into operation in the autumn of 2021 and supplies green energy to approximately 9,000 households.
The Kampen solar park is located in the Koekoekspolder near IJsselmuiden and provides 5,900 households with sustainable energy. The solar park was put into operation in the autumn of 2021.
Solar park Markelo was realised on the site of a former asylum seekers' centre in the hamlet of Herike-Elsen. The solar park was put into operation at the end of 2021.
Solar park Ommelanderwijk was put into operation in October 2020 and is located on a former, polluted industrial site. The solar park provides 1,900 households with green electricity.
Solar park Stadskanaal is located at the Esdoornstraat in Stadskanaal. The solar park has been completed by the end of 2020 and provides at least 31,000 households with sustainable electricity. It is one of the largest solar parks in the Netherlands.
Solar park Buinerveen, located at the Paardetangendijk in Buinerveen, was put into operation in the autumn of 2020. Almost 14,000 households are provided with green electricity thanks to the solar park.
Chint Solar developed an 11 hectare solar park in Andijk. The park was officially opened on 7 November 2018.
Solar park Midden Groningen is located on the outskirts of Hoogezand-Sappemeer. The solar park will provide 32,000 households with sustainable energy.
